CBAM Default Values
The definitive-period default-value framework is organized by legal annex and use case. We separate the source structure from numeric records so every production value can carry its legal source and effective period.
Imported goods except electricity
Default values for embedded emissions of imported goods and certain precursors.
Indirect embedded emissions
Default values for specific indirect embedded emissions where the rules call for default values.
Imported electricity
Default values for embedded direct emissions in imported electricity.
Unknown precursor country
Default values used for precursors where the country of production cannot be identified.
CBAMSearch will not invent missing emissions values. Country/goods records will be published only with source annex, unit, effective period and methodology metadata.
